N.Z. LEGION MEETS.
Future Political Action Discussed.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 18. Important proposals involving aboli tion of the unity Government plank xn its platform, and a direct appeal to the country through the electorate at next election as a separate political party, are being discussed at a national conference convened by the New Zealand Legion, which began in Wellington today, and will be continued to-mor-row. It is reported that the Legion is confident that sufficient money will be forthcoming to enable the party to run candidates in sixty seats in all parts of the country. The conference is strictly in camera and it was decided to make no public statement until it concludes.
