Annual Rugby Game Played This Afternoon. KEEN INTEREST IN FIXTURE. Tlie chief event in secondary school R.ugby in Christchurch, the annual match between Christ’s College and Christchurch Boys’ High School, was this afternoon at the Boys’ High School ground. The meeting of these old rivals attracted a large crowd, in which parents and old boys were prominent, and the teams took the field to the accompaniment of rousing hakas ’ from their schoolfellows. School drove hack to halfway, but College gained the hall again the hacks went away with a rush, Harpur being pulled down ten yards from the line. School were penalised, but Alexander’s kick missed. College kept up the pressure and School were kept defending desperately in their own twenty-five. College had* had the best of the play so far.
