An interesting address on “The Pilgrims’ Progress” and the life of John Bunyan, illustrated by thirty pictures, was given in the Ouruhia School on Sunday by the Rev W. 11. A. Vickery, of Kaiapoi, assisted by Mrs Ken Vidkery. Plymns were sung by the congregation and Miss Gladys Chennery presided as organist. The annual ball of the D.I.C. will be held at the Winter Garden on Wednesday, July 25. The annual staff dance of the N.Z. Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd., is being arranged by a large committee, to take place at the Winter Garden on Monday, July 9.
