Angel Filling.
To-Day’s Recipe.
One cup icing sugar. One egg white. Half cup chopped raisins. Quarter cup hot water. Half cup chopped walnuts. One tablespoon desiccated coconut. First measure sugar and water into a saucepan. Simmer till it reaches the soft ball stage. Beat egg white to a stiff froth and stir in the. syrup by degrees. Continue • to stir till thick, then add coconut, raisins, and chopped walnuts. Use at once before it sets.
