Free Tram Tickets.
Dear Sir, —There is no doubt the 3d tram tickets for relief workers are welcome, but perhaps it. isn’t known that a few of the workers who hitherto have walked home are now forced to either buv a ticket or walk both ways Previously, with the free single ticket, those who cared to do so returned by tram, paying full fare, and a few walked back. If, as stated, the arrangements prior to April 13 are cancelled, then those workers who walked home have either to buy a ticket or walk both ways. To be fair, they should be allowed the price of a 3d return or a free single ticket. —I am, etc., W.G.
