Prettijohns to aid the funds of St. Ambrose Church The programme consisted of: Piano and violin duct, Messrs R. and E. Blacklock ; acrobat ic exercises, Miss X. Prettijohns; tap dance, Miss Audrey Allan; son Mrs J. Denham; doll dance, pupils of Miss N. Prettijohns; piano and violin duet, Misses Mary and Florance Nolan; song, Mr Trevor Oakley: acrobatic exercises. Miss Betty Tiiley; Indian dance, pupils of Miss N. Prettijohns: recitation. Miss Ruby Hines; tap solo, Miss Thelma Marks; recitation, Mr Trevor Hines; toe dance. Miss N. Prettijohns; song, Mr Desmond Lodge; recitation, Jack Tilley; plavette, “ Swannee River,” pupils of Misses Nolan and Prettijohns. During the interval the Rev J. S. Southward, vicar of St Chad’s, expressed his appreciation of the effort.
