The establishment of another intermediate school in Christchurch was discussed *at a meeting of the Canterbury School Committees’ Association last evening, when several members supported the furtherance of the intermediate school plan. Another view was that the plan should be left alone until such time as the primary schools were properly equipped. It was decided to approach the Education Department asking for its intention concerning the development of the intermediate school system. It was also decided to ask whether there was any intention to curtail the granting of senior free places,
