Ashburton Candidates Go Fast at Addington. The weather was fine but overcast for training operations at Addington this morning, where several Ashburton candidates were given fast work. The track was in good order. Garner’s task was one mile and a haltin 3min 29 2-ssec. . Winning Way left twelve furlongs behind in 3min 29sec. Olive Nelson trotted a mile and a half from a standing start in 3min 36 2-5 Attorney, Dundee and Agile were companions in a bout over a mile and a quarter. Attorney made the pace, anc? had a start from Dunedee, who had three seconds’ start of Agile. They were almost on terms at the finish. Attorney did 2min 54sec, Dundee 2min 52sec and Agile 2min 49sec. Indianapolis was given jogging work with the hopples on. Isabel Patch reeled off a mile and a half in 3min 29sec. Prince Harvester was indulged in a useful effort with Norman Fox, Fifa and Fairyland*. Prince Harvester did the last mile and three-quarters of a twomile ” go ” in 4min 14sec. Walla Walla’s task was a couple of rounds at an easy pace. Bide-a-wee worked pleasingly over two miles in 4min 44sec. Auburn Lad’s task was one mile in 2min 23sec. Biddy Parrish and a stable-mate trotted a mile and a quarter in 2min 52sec Royal Again was accompanied by Ruth Logan and Black Jester in a serviceable essay over one mile and a half. Royal Again beat his companions and registered 3min 25sec. Renegade, who is looking well, was given sprinting tasks. Blue Mountain paced nicely while going two miles in 4min 42sec. Young Frank and Young Travis were associated in a spin over one mile and a quarter in 2min 57sec. They finished Morelio paced well while going a mile and a quarter in 2min 45sec, taking 2min 12sec to compass the first mile.
