COLLIE DOG CLUBS.
The Canterbury Collie Dog Clubs Association met recently in Christchurch. Mr R. M. D. Johnson (Malvern) presided and the following clubs were represented: Oinihi, Waiau, Little River, Waitaki. Waikari, Kaikoura, Oxford. Glenroy, Malvern, Cheviot and Amur!. It. was resolved that the Marlborough and Kaikoura Collie Dog Trial Associations be accepted as members. The balance-sheet and annual statement of income and expenditure were adopted. The following officers were appointed: Patrons, Mrs 11. T. Little and Messrs G. L. Rutherford and R. M. Morten: president, Mr R. M. D. Johnson; vice-presidents. Messrs H. E. Fincham, G. O Rutherford and S. Birdling; secretary. Mr C. A. Parker; treasurer, Mr It. L. Hicks; delegates to the South Island Association, Messrs H. E. Fincham and C. A. Parker; official judges for the South Island championship dog trials, Messrs H. Ingram. G. O. Rutherford and J. M’Rae (Waimate).
