FENCE REMOVED.
Unsightly Wires Round Cathedral Plot. The object of much attention from newspaper correspondents and the Christchurch Beautifying Association—the post and wire fence about the Cathedral plot??—is being removed by order of the Cathedral Chapter. Two workmen were engaged this morning in dismantling the fence, and bv noon the western frontage of the old Godlev plot was cleared. The other fences will be removed on Monday.
