RICHMOND KINDERGARTEN.
The committee of the Richmond Free Kindergarten held its first meeting for *he year at the school, members present being; Mesdames E. Hitchcock (in the chair), Bleasdale, Carter, J. C. Forsythe, K. Marshall, S. M’Causland, A. Peverill, F. A. Pyne, Suckling and Miss M’llraith. It was reported that the school reopened on February 6 and the roll had now increased to sixty. Up to the present there had been no cases of measles in the school. Mrs Pyne very kindly offered the garden of her home in Bealey Avenue for a garden party on Saturday, March 17. Attractions will include a baby show and decorated tricycles and dolls’ prams, the latter to be decided by popular vote. There will be the usual stalls, also clock golf, a buried treasure hunt and Aunt Sally.
