GARDEN PARTY AT “ILAM.”
The garden party of the Sunlight League will take place at “ Ilam ** next Saturday, February 24. Two plays will be acted by the health camp children. The children will also give the exercise games, “ Old King Cole ” and “ Okains Toyshop,” which demonstrate the modern trend of physical culture education. The exhibition of tennis and a tour round the beautiful old garden will doubtless prove great attractions. A special bus for “ Ilam ’* will leave opposite the Bridge of Remembrance at 2.20. Members are invited, while non-members interested in the work of the league are admitted for Is, which includes afternoon tea. Children 6d. Mrs Edgar Stead has invited the men from Rannerdale and it is hoped that some of those who so generously assisted the camp at Okains Bay will accept the invitation to be present at the Sunlight League Party next Saturday.
