TWO SYDNEY FIRES.

United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, February 16. Fire destroyed the ink factory owned by Mr W. Price, at Double Bay. The damage is estimated at £IO,OOO. Following a series of explosions the flames rapidly spread through the large stock of chemicals. The workmen in the building barely had time to struggle to safety through the choking smoke and fumes. The Royal Hotel, at Gloucester, was gutted by fire. The residents escaped with only a few personal effects. One infirm man was trapped. He jumped from the balcony, but was only slightly injured.
