MOTOR-CAR WRECKED.

Narrow Escape From Serious Injury. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 17. Six men in a car had a very narrow escape from serious injury this morning "when returning from the Muriwai beach, after witnessing the departure of the Faith in Australia. They were John F. M’Dermott, his three sons, and two other young men. There was a heavy fog on the road, and the car skidded at a corner and somersaulted. James M’Dermott, aged 18, driver, had his head gashed by a broken windscreen, and was treated at the hospital. The car was wrecked.
