Medical Journal on Sterilisation. LONDON, February 6. The medical journal, the “ Lancet.’* in a leading article, expresses pleasure at the unanimity of the report of the committee on sterilisation, which recommended the institution of voluntary sterilisation, under safeguards. The article endorses the committee’s opposition to compulsory sterilisation, and a{Ms: “Far from threatening the liberty of the poor, legislation of sterilisation would give them facilities now readily accessible to. the rich. With the path thus cleared, action should follow."
