100,000 More Jobs in Motor-car Industry. DETROIT, February 6 The motor-car industry is taking an extra 100,000 men from the unemployed to meet the expected demand for new cars. Mr John Lovoss, manager of the Michigan Manufacturers' Association, believes that the industry will produce 3‘ million cars this year. " The outlook is the best since 1329.” he said, adding that Ford was running the biggest production for four years. Chevrolet has doubled last January’s pay-roll. General Motors is employing 33,000 mere now than last year. Ford is employing 90.000 men in the Detroit area alone, while Chrysler has 42,000 on its staff.
