'The Mayor: I hope the reporters have taken note of Councillor Thurston’s hint as to the future policy of the Tramway Board. (Renewed laughter.) The grocers’ picnic, which was to have been held on Saturday last, will now be held at the Riccarton Racecourse on Sunday, February IS. Tram r will leave Cathedral Square at 11 o’clock, and will leave on the return trip at 6.30 p.m.
