WOMEN’S DAY OF PRAYER.

To-morrow will be observed throughout the world as the Women's Day of Prayer. This movement, begun many years ago by the women of the United States, has grown until to-day it has become world-wide, international, interdenominational, and inter-racial, the women of every land and every ’creed taking part in it. It is not a day for speech-making or money-receiving, but for united prayer to God on behalf of missions, thanking Him for His goodness, and interceding for a sin-wrecked world. All women are cordially invited to take part in the Christchurch services, to be held in St Paul’s Schoolroom, Lichfield Street, commencing at 11 a.m. and at 2.30 p.m.
