POLICE RESISTED.
Seaman Fined in Lyttelton Court. Owen Williams, a seaman, was charged in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court this morning, before Mr W. C. Cleary, J.P., with drunkenness and resisting the police. On the charge 6f drunkenness he was convicted and discharged. and on the charge of resisting the police he was fined £3.
