LATE MRS M. CALDWELL.
The death occurred on Tuesday, after a short illness, of Margaret Caldwell. at the age of eighty years. Mrs Caldwell arrived from Scotland twenty years ago and settled in West Melton for nine years, afterwards going to Hawkins, where she resided up till December last. She was of a very kindly disposition, and endeared herself to everyone with whom she came in contact. She is survived by her husband and family: Mrs D. Harries (Richmond), Mrs 'P. Jack (Duvauchelle), Mr Robert Caldwell (Dunsandel), Mr George Caldwell (Courtenay), Mr Charles Caldwell (Richmond). The funeral took place on Thursday at the Biomley Cemetery, and was largely attended. Floral tributes we/e received from:—J.
