STRIKES REJECTED.
Australian Workers’ Union Decision. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 3, 1.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 3. By a majority of 9695 votes* the members of the Australian Workers’ Union throughout Australia voted for the Union continuing in favour of the policy of arbitration in preference to strikes. The voting was: arbitration 13,317 votes; strike 3622.
