Inter-club Competition Continued. SOME GOOD PERFORMANCES. Among: good performances when the inter-club competition was continued this afternoon was the fine run by the New Zealand champion, J. B. MacFarlane, who covered the 220 yards on a difficult track in 23sec, equalling - the Canterbury standard. Another runner to distinguish himself was G. H. Watson, of the Oid Boys’ Club, who ran the three miles in 15m in 4 9sec—standard time. The various events drew good fields and competition was keen. Miss Callinan was again in good form for the women’s 100yds and recorded standard time.
