BE CHARMING.
Good looks may be a legacy handed down by a beautiful grandmother, but charm is something that you create yourself. It is so easy to be charming, it is astonishing there are any grouchers or tiresome whiners in all the world.
Never introduce depressing or dull subjects into . the conversation. Be a good listener. Do not be afraid to laugh. Cultivate delightful manners. When you have a nice thought, go ahead and say it.
Cultivate poise, ease. Do not chatter. Chatterers are tiresome. Do not talk about clothes eternally, as do some women. Read the newspapers and the best magazines. Keep in touch with what is going on. Then use your eyes for observation, your head for heavy thinking.
