Mrs Grange Wins Senior Match at Avondale. In the L.G.U. competition played on Saturday Mrs J. R. Grange won in the senior division with a card of 98 81. The best cards returned in the junior division were:

Knight, Miss B. M. Cook and Mrs C. H. Knight, Mrs J. Pierce and Miss Bishop, Mrs Atkinson and Airs J. C. Alacdonald, Airs Kennedy and Aliss F. Low, Airs Millar and Airs Martin, Mrs J. Kingslnjid and Airs W. J. Owens, Airs L. Smith and Aliss C. Fisher. The first round is to be played on or before July 16. Hagley Club. In the C grade sealed holes match Afiss Vivienne Thomas was the winner. In the semi-final of the senior grade Bean Cup Airs Herbert Lawry beat Aliss E. Atkinson. Aliss D. Denshire and Airs H. T. Adams tied. In the junior grade Bean Cup Aliss R. Richards beat Aliss J. C. Macdonald, Afiss A. Rennie beat Airs E. A. Summers, Miss Af. Hunter beat Miss K. Buchanan. Airs H. E. Parsonson and Miss B. Bloxam have to play. The final round in the senior grade and the next round in the junior grade must be played on or before July 10.
