RIVER TRUST POLL.
Mr H. E. Evans Returned for Cust. Mr H. E. Evans was returned yesterday to the Waimakariri River Trust for the Cust subdivision. He received 378 votes, and his opponent, Mr C. Morgan Williams, 209 votes. There were three informal A’Otes. Declaration votes total sixtv-two. This was the only poll required, all the other members of the trust having been eleoted unopposed.
