WILL STAND FOR MAYOR.
The Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.) will contest the Mayoralty again this year if he receives nomination from the Labour Party. Mr Sullivan, in answer to a question, made his position clear to-day. He said that he realised that in the next two years the position of Mayor would be no more of a sinecure than it had been in the last two years, and that whoever occupied the position would be facing a very strenuous period. ________________
