ORGANIST IN COURT.
Faces Serious Charges at Dunedin. (Special to the " Star.”) DUNEDIN, January 14. The Police Court was crowded yesterday afternoon when Leslie .Vane Harvey, who has become well known in Dunedin during the last few years as an accomplished organist and musician, appeared on two charges of indecent assault on males. The dates mentioned in the charges were June 13, 1931, and April 30, 1932. The first witness was a youth aged sixteen, who was employed as a lolly boy, and on leaving that employment was offered a job as rouseabout at accused’s place at Fairfield. The case was adjourned till Monday.
