Playmate Has Comfortable Win. Playmate, sailed by T. Bassett, had a comfortable win in the Christchurch Sailing Club’s junior members’ ’•ace at Redcliffs to-day. Five boats started in the race, sailing on a flood tide in a )ight nor’-easterly over the Skylark Islapd-Avon Buoy course. Playmate was first to cross, and rounded at the tripod pile half a minute ahead of Cygnet, with another half minute to Gadfly. With her spinnaker out, Cygnet closed in temporarily on Playmate, but on the beat back from the Skylark Island buoy.
