Petrol from Wrecked Plane Dripped Down Chimney. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, December 20. A military aeroplane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb, and the pilot was killed instantly. The inhabitants of the house rushed into the street, while policemen and volunteers, using ladders, attempted to reach the wreckage. A woman resident, seventy years old, returned to her room to fetch her savings, when a violent explosion occurred. owing to petrol reaching a stove through the chimney. The explosion killed the woman and injured nineteen other persons.
