ANNUAL SOCIAL
Members of Methven Masonic Lodge. The annual conversazione of the Methven Masonic Lodge, No. 51, was held in the Methven Town Hall. There was a large attendance of members and visitors. Music was. supplied by Wells’s Orchestra (Christchurch), extras being played by Mesdames R. F. Smith and A. Lawrence and Mr Knox Cook. Vocal items were contributed by Mrs E. A. Mangin and Brother J. R. Grigg, Mrs A. S. Kennedy being accompanist. Brother J. R. Grigg was M.C. W.M. Brother E. T. Grigg extended a welcome to the guests. The grand march, in which about a hundred couples took part, was led by W.M. Brother Grigg and Mrs Grigg. Among- those present were: Mesdames E. T. Grigg (Alford Forest), A. S, Findlay (HJghbank), L.
