ENGAGEMENTS.
The engagement is announced of Mary Helen, second daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Browne, Wakefield Avenue, Sumner, to Alex John, youngest son of Mr and Mrs D. Caithness, Tancred Street, Linwood. The engagement is announced between Peggy Joan, only child of the late Captain T. A. Williams, R.N., C.8.E., and the late Mrs Williams, formerly of Devonport, England, and Henry Brian Ward, only son of Sir Francis Boys, K.8.E., and Ladj'- Boys, London. The engagement is announced between John Walter Rivers, younger son of Dr C. S. Myers and Mrs Myers, of Montagu Mansions, London, and of Winsford, Somerset, and Barbara Catherine, younger daughter of the late Sir Arthur M. Myers, of Auckland, and Lady Myers, of Upper Berkeley Street, London. Dr C. S. Myers is the director of the National Institute of Industrial Psychology, and is a well-known contributor to various journals devoted to psychology, anthropology, medicine and physiology.
