Mr Fletcher announced his subject from Acts 25, 24, “A Governor’s Fatal Mistake.” „ . “ Paul,” said the preacher, was the most notorious Jew of his day. He was the hope, realls’, of the Jewish nation. It was thought he would sweep Christianity out of the country. The news that he had become a Christian infuriated his fellow countrymen. effort was made to silence him. You must be out-and-out.’ You must be willing to have your life altered. The third thing 1 want to say is that Felix was faced with the great issue of eternity. The man Is a fool who takes no account of eternity. Don’t be like those proud, shallow people, who haven’t sufficient depth to float anything. Eternity is real. Are vou ready for it? What will you way to this great crisis that is before you/ Is there ever a convenient season! You can pass through the crisis and escape God and that is the most terrible thing that could happen.” Mr Fletcher made a great uppeal foi decision for Christ, to which many rePIKAL MEETING TO-NIGHT.
