BRIGHTON V. TRAVELLERS
The annual bowling match between the Commercial Travellers and the New Brighton Club for the Takaro Shield was played on the New Brighton green on Saturday afternoon. Evans, president of the Christchurch Bowling Centre, presented the pennant and Its accompanying trophy, the Manning Challenge Cup, to the club, which that season had won it for the first time.
