Fidget Wins Irene Stacey Trophy.
Fidget, sailed by E. Morrison, won the Canterbury Sailing and Power Boating Association’s annual race for the Irene Stacey trophy, held on the Estuary on Saturday. The race, for boats of 12ft Gin over all and under, attracted eleven starters, including two Lyttelton yachts, Uira, sailed by the Cornwell Cup winners, AV. Tissiman and R. Hendry, and Ma Peru. There was only a light breeze throughout the whole race, which was sailed over the Skylark IslandAvon buoy course, three times round. Result: Fidget (E. Morrison) l Ma Peru (F.
