KINDERGARTEN BREAK-UP
Bowls of roses, gladioli and iceland poppies made a bright show on I hursday afternoon at Miss Ailsa West s Kindergarten, Puriri Street, Riccarton, when the breaking-up party took place. There was a large gathering of parents and friends to enjoy the programme of dances and character songs given by the pupils. Later came Father Christmas and presented each child with a toy from the tree. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the parents, while the children sat down to their party table, which was gaily bedecked with coloured hats and bon-bons. The interchange of good wishes among those present closed a pleasant gathering.
