KAIAPOI COURT CASES.
Before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Kaiapoi this morning, John Chamberlain, charged with driving a spring dray at night without a light, was fined ss. Apa Crofts, on a charge of procuring liquor while prohibited, was fined 20s and costs 12s, and for entering the premises of the Mandeville Hotel he was fined 10s and cos.ts 10s. . Austin Clmppel. charged with behaving in a disorderly manner in High Street, was fined £2 and costs 19s. Civil Cases. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following cases: —F. Pearce v. A. Ward, £2 10s; H. E. Anderson v. J. Barrett. £4 14s sd; T. K. Hiekinbotham v. S| Hobden, £2 Ss 6d; E. Howard v. K. Mokomoko, £5 14s lid: F. Hayward v. W. Power, £1 16s 8d; E. Johnston v. G. Smith. 12s 8d; Mrs M. Young v. H, G. Cross, £5 15s.
