DIPHTHERIA SWEEPS NORTH-WEST ALASKA

The veteran, Koe Crossan, made an epic flight of a thousand miles across the frozen wilderness, and delivered half a million units of anti-toxin. The Presbyterian hospital is overflowing. Doctor Henry Greist, the onlv physician in this part of the frozen world, is working day and night with his wife for the immunisation of three hundred natives and a dozen whites. Several deaths are already reported.
