GROOM AND BEST MAN BY AIR TO WEDDING.
Mr Pat Barker, of Napier, who is to be married in Christchurch on Thursday, arrived this morning by aeroplane, piloted by his best man, Mr Hamish Armstrong, also of Napier. The machine left Napier yesterday, and landed in Blenheim last evening. The flyers had intended to make Christchurch last evening, but they met strong head winds, and were forced to land at Blenheim. They came on this aaiorning to Wigram, which they reached at 11.45 a.m. They had a good trip for the latter part of the journey, and accomplished it in good time.
