SITE OF THE AUXILIARY PLANT TO BE INSPECTED.
The work in progress on the site of the auxiliary electric power plant at Lyttelton will be inspected to-morrow morning by the Deputy-Mayor (Dr H. T. J. Thacker), Mr E. Hitchcock (general manager of the Municipal Electricity Department), and the town clerk (Mr J. S. Neville). Dr Thacker stated to-day that, in view of the great importance of providing an adequate power supply for Canterbury next winter, he was desirous of seeing for himself what progress was being made
