DRAY WHEEL PASSES OVER BOY’S STOMACH.
Bobby Winter, a boy aged thirteen years, of 79, Briggs Road, Mairehau, died in the Christchurch Hospital this morning from injuries to his stomach received when a drav ran over him yesterday morning. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital and operated on. but died earl} r this morning. The accident happened when the boy attempted to avoid a dog while he was riding a bicycle in a paddock where hay-making was in progress. A collision with a dray ensued and one of the wheels passed over him. An inquest is being held this afternoon.
