GERMANY COMPLAINS OF POLISH TERRORISM.

(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 30.

A most delicate situation awaits the meeting of the Council of the League of Nations on January 19, as the outcome of Polish disturbances over German minorities.

Germany has already despatched to the League three Notes complaining that persons of German origin had been deprived of votes. Germany is also sending Dr J. Curtius, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Geneva to make the most serious charges against Poland. It is likely that Mr Arthur Henderson will be asked to preside in vew of Britain’s neutrality.

It is alleged that Polish terrorism has occurred in the corridor districts, which are one of Europe’s danger .spots. It is generally considered that Poland is in the wrong, an early admission of which would ease the tension. France, who is Poland’s ally, favours an inquiry, but the other powers consider that the League Council should give a decision on the evidence available without further delay.
