BIG DEFICIT SHOWN IN TREASURY FIGURES.

Jhe 1 reasury returns for nine months ending to-night show a deficit of £180,000,000 compared with £170,000,000 for a similar period of last year. The figures indicate the probability of a substantial deficit at the end of the Budget year.
