SIR SEFTON BRANCKER LEFT MONEY TO ACTRESS

Sir Sefton Brancker, Director of Civil Aviation, who was killed in the RlOl disaster, left £6690, all to Miss Muriel Lee, an actress. His will was made in 1927. Miss Lee is aged fifty. She is a member of a family related to the American Civil War leader, General Robert E. Lee. She played many show parts, and latterly has been producing plays. At present she is producing talkies at Hollywood. Miss Lee was the first woman «to flv across the Equator, when she accompanied Sir Sefton Brancker to Kenya. Occasionally she flew at aviation meetings with Sir Sefton Brancker.
The Air Ministry last month granted Lady Brancker a pension of £3OO per annum.
