TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mr and Mrs R. L. Wigley (Highfield) are spending a few days at The Hermitage. Mr and Mrs F. Smellie (Christchurch), w’ho were staying at the Grosvenor Hotel, have returned to the north. Mrs W. T. Ritchie (“ Te Tawa ”) left yesterday to stay with Mrs J. M, Ritchie (Dunedin). Mr and Mrs F. Wallace (Gore) and Miss Reid (Dunedin) are staying at the Grosvenor Hotel. Mr and Mrs L. E. Finch (Park Lane) are spending a few days at The Hermitage. Mr and Mrs Abbey Jones (Invercargill) are spending a few days at The Hermitage. Mrs F. A. Raymond (Beverley Road) is staying with Mrs Andrew Guild (“ Strathearn,” Temuka). Miss Nottingham (Christchurch) has returned home after a short visit to Mrs F. A. Raymond (Beverley Road). Dr Eleanor Baker-M’Laglen (Christchurch), who has been staying with Mrs C-. A. Paterson (Sefton Street), left for the north yesterday. Mrs G. W. Armitage (Temuka), who has been visiting her brother, the Hon W. Downie Stewart (Dunedin), has returned home.
