MOTOR-LORRY HITS POST ON RICCARTON ROAD.
An elderly man named Richards was injured when a motor-lorry in which he was riding hit a post at the corner of Riccarton Road and Harakeke Street at about 11.30 this morning. He received
injuries to the head and ribs, and was removed to the Public Hospital, where his condition is fairly serious. The lorry in which he was driving was badly damaged.
