Per Press* Association. WELLINGTON, November 2G. Mr G. M’Namara, secretao' to the G.P.0., said to-day that it was hoped that the radio telephone service with England would be available within a week or so. Satisfactory tests had already been carried out, and as soon as the staff had mastered the intricacies of the system the service would be made available. There were no calls booked to Australia up to noon to-da>’, but it was hoped that there would be a greater demand on the service, as its value was recognised.
