DISCUSSION EXTENDS TILL EARLY MORNING.
MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT TALK ON UNEMPLOYMENT
(Special to the “Star.*’) ELLINGTON, June 27. For its second sitting day the House took full advantage of the privileges of discussion afforded by the introduction of the Imprest Bill. Last night the debate on unemployment remedial measures lasted until 2.10 am. and the Bill, which provides for _ appropriations amounting to £3,275,000, was passed at 2.45 a.m. The Local Authorities Empowering Relief of Unemployment Extension Bill was put through the final stages, the .House- rising at 3.10 am. The Prime Minister announced that the Address-in-Reply debate in the House would be initiated on Tuesday. There would be only two speakers, and the debate would be resumed on Wednesday.
