A Golf Query.
e&'XL* To the Editor. Dear Sir, —The Kirk-Windeyer Cup matches are to be played in Christchurch this month, when there will be a large gathering of Australian and New Zealand golfers. The matches are to be played at Shirley and it would be interesting to know if arrangements are being made by the New Zealand Golf Club for the accommodation of the large gallery of spectators that will follow the matches. Catering facilities should be on a much larger scale than is the case at ordinary fixtures at Shirley and it is to be hoped that this aspect of the gathering has not been overlooked.—l am. etc..
