INFECTIOUS DISEASES NOTIFICATIONS NORMAL.
The infectious diseases notifications in the Canterbury and West Coast districts for the week ended noon to-day were nearly normal. There have been no outstanding increases, and the figures for pneumonic cases, after showing an increase up to fourteen cases last week, have dropped back again to five. There are four notifications of diphtheria from the West Coast. The figures are as follows: CANTERBURY. This Last week. week. Enteric 1 There were two deaths in the Canterbury district, two from tuberculosis and one from pneumonia.
