EXAM. RESULTS.
At the entrance examination for short-hand-typists held in Christchurch last month, the following: candidates from St Mary’s Convent, Colombo Street, were successful: — Senior Public Service.—Winifred Thiele, Mona Gogrgin, Mollie Crowther. Junior Public Service.—Katherine Bishop. In the examinations hold in connection with Pitman’s, Melbourne, Shorthand Speed Certifiates were gained by: Winifred Robertson (100 words a minute). Patricia Armstrong:, Joan Cafiavan, Gwen Ryan, Dulcie Sliannalian, Joan Simon (sixty words a minute). Shorthand Theory Certificate—Gwen Ryan, Joan Simon. Katherine Bishop, Joan Canavan and Veronica O’Boyle.
